     Ryan Adam Murray's next talk will be about Liber 418 "The Vision & the Voice," a series of Enochian visions undertaken by Aleister Crowley and Victor Neugerg. We'll explore Liber 418's role in the system of Enochian magick and the ramifications of Crowley and Neuberg's work in this respect. We will be comparing these visions, and this relationship, to those of Dee and Kelley, and looking at where this comparison leads us.

On Monday, May 7th, Ryan Adam Murray will be giving the first of a three-part lecture, looking at how the Enochian system of John Dee informs Thelemic symbology. This first talk will look at elements of the diaries of John Dee that prefigure the Thelemic revelations of Liber 418, and Aleister Crowley's system of ceremonial magick.

     Thanks very much to everyone who made it out yesterday for David Rankine's Sacred Geometry pt I workshop, it was really great having him in the city to do this! Sacred Geometry seems such an integral, fundamental aspect of Occultism that I think a lot of texts assume the student has already made study of the subject. We hope to get David out for another workshop soon!

     Meanwhile, coming up, Ryan Adam Murray will be doing a Three-Part lecture on the influence of John Dee's Enochian system on Thelema, and the importance of that system's symbols and language to two of the most important books of Thelemic symbology: Liber 418 The Vision & the Voice, and The Book of Thoth (Crowley's companion text on the Tarot). I'll be keeping you posted on details to come!

The Temple of Our Lady of the Stars: Inauguration Announcement

As stated in our pre-inauguration announcement in February, a new Thelemic mystery school, the Temple of Our Lady of the Stars (TOLS), is now meeting regularly in Toronto. This fraternity follows in the occult tradition begun by the Golden Dawn, updated for the Aeon of Horus. It offers training in applied Thelemic philosophy, Qabalistic and Hermetic knowledge, practical mysticism and magick. The curriculum consists of a supervised course that takes members from a primary initiation through a series of graded degrees that lead to a second initiation into the Mysteries of Tiphereth, aiming toward knowledge of the True Will and the first levels of contact with the HGA.



TOLS is warranted by the Prolocutor of an existing school, the Temple of the Silver Star, that is based in Sacramento, Cal. It also maintains a link to the Jane Wolfe lineage of the A.’.A.’. via the same connection. However, the terms of our Warrant explicitly recognise us as an autonomous Order, answerable to the Law of Thelema and the Hidden Guardians of the current of the New Aeon.



As a teaching order, TOLS accepts applications from sincere applicants willing to devote time, effort and commitment to the pursuit of the Great Work. Initiation is granted to those who pass a preliminary interview and are willing to meet the requirements initiation imposes on all true aspirants.
