This talk will explore Demonology and the idea of evil. We'll look at some material from Catholic exorcism as well as ceremonial magick, while exploring the idea of demons as entities themselves. We'll also look at the role that evil plays in both practical and philosophical engagements with magick and Thelema.

      This talk will focus on aspects of habitual human behavior, and how recognizing and understanding them relates to an authentic occult practice. "Cold Reading" and similar techniques have been used to deceive people, but the same skills are necessary to the task of creating change in conformity with Will. We will discuss the techniques and the ethics involved.

Ryan Adam Murray will explore the subject of ecstatic states and their relationship to esoteric religion and ceremonial magick. The first half of the lecture will cover the subject of romantic love and physical lust and how states of sexual ecstasy can be used in a ritual setting. The second half will discuss various different technologies that are capable of altering one's physical and mental state, and what ritual objectives each individual technologies will help a magician achieve.

Ryan Adam Murray will be hosting a lecture & discussion on the subject of Occult Philosophy. This talk will examine the philosophical questions raised by the practice of Ceremonial Magick. What ethical questions will we face? What does the existence of beings like Gods and Angels imply for metaphysics? What does this mean for our approach to politics? By approaching this subject we also will be able to address more practical aspects of how a Ceremonial Magician integrates the use of occult forces into their daily life.
