Initiation & the Path of Return

Initiation & the Path of Return
with Dr. David Shoemaker
Saturday, October 20th, 2:30pm
Cost: $15 (this is a non-profit event; door fees go toward covering travelling expenses, etc)
At: Trinity St. Paul's, 427 Bloor St. West, Toronto (basement, in the "Rainbow Room")
Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law.
In this entertaining presentation, Dr. Shoemaker will show how the Trumps of the Thoth Tarot illustrate the various tasks, challenges and transformative processes awaiting the aspirant on the path toward awakened spiritual consciousness, known in Thelemic tradition as the Knowledge and Conversation of the Holy Guardian Angel. He will then discuss the Adept’s journey toward the inevitable ordeal of the “Abyss”.
Dr. Shoemaker will also present a brief overview of the life and legacy of Soror Meral (Phyllis Seckler), whose writings he has recently co-edited. A limited number of copies of Seckler's books will be available for sale and signing.
